Osun Creative and Entertainment Body Celebrates African Art and Culture Icon, Chief Mrs. Nike Monica Okundaye, on Her 74th Birthday
Osun Creative and Entertainment Industry Initiative (OSCEII) joins the global art community in celebrating a true icon of African art and culture, Chief Mrs. Nike Monica Okundaye, as she marks her 74th birthday today. As the visionary founder of the renowned Nike Art Gallery, Chief Mrs. Okundaye has made monumental contributions to the preservation and promotion of African heritage through her artistry and mentorship.
Her lifelong dedication to the arts has not only elevated Nigerian culture on the world stage but has also provided employment opportunities, cultural education, and community development for countless individuals, both at home (Osogbo, Osun State and abroad).
Osun Creatives Convener, Comrade Paul Abiola Owolabi said this during an interview with him in Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State on behalf of the Stakeholder’s, Executives, working committees and the entire members across the state, commends her inspiring leadership, creativity, and enduring legacy in the cultural space, wishing her continued good health, joy, and prosperity as she celebrates the 74th birthday.
Comrade Paul Abiola Owolabi, Stressing in his statement, that the creation and establishment of Osun Creative in Osun State at this precious time will also enhance the cultural values of the state, the creative and entertainment sector across the board as the platform is on the move in collaborating with all the Stakeholder’s based in Osun State, Nigeria and in diaspora.
In his final note, he encouraged every creative minds to continue to inspire and focus more on the ultimate goal of projecting Osun State to the world.
